Ashton Arnold of Altamont had a terrific showing at his first state xc meet and finished second overall in a competitive 1A field. Ashton had an impressive season dipping under 17 minutes for three miles and running a personal best of 17:16 for 5000m at the Utah State XC Championships. Behind Arnold, you'll see fellow Sophomore Robert Levy of Telos who also had an excellent Utah State debut running 17:37 at the state meet and was the winner of his regional race just the week before.
