Jojo Jourdon of Olympus will be one of the few athletes entering next season with All-American honors on his resume. The junior represented Utah well at the Garmin RunningLane Championships, finishing 3rd overall. Jourdon is the top returner for the Garmin RunningLane Championships next season, and he is also the top returning boy for the 5A classification. Jojo finished fourth overall in this year's state meet, but with the top two runners graduating and Austin Westfall competing in 4A next season, the way has been made clear for Jourdon to be the next 5A champion. Challenging Jourdon will be the Viewmont duo of Gabe Hooper and Weston Egnew, who have the second and third-fastest returning 5000m times for the 5A classification.
