Panguitch High School has extended their State win streak to two after dominating their classification with an overall team score of just 21 points! As we mentioned in our top returning 1A Boys teams article, the 1A classification only scores the first four runners instead of the traditional five that the rest of the State does. Panguitch was led by overall two-time xc state champion Adelaide Englestead and her runner-up and teammate Tabetha Henrie at the 2021 state meet. Both Englestead and Henrie are going to be returning for next season and when you throw in Panguitch's third runner Dj Henrie who is projected to be a top ten finisher in a race that will only score the first four runners for each team, Panguitch might be the safest pick on who will win a state team title for next season.
