*Emma Page after placing 2nd in the 4A State race
As we make our way into these bigger classifications, the pool of top returners expands and the question of who will be the top 2022 returners becomes harder to answer. Brooklyn Hill of Pine View will have the fastest returning 5000m time with her 18:38.52 which she ran clear back in August to place 3rd in the SUU High School Invite. Emma Page of Cedar has the next fastest returning 5000m time of 18:43.10 which she ran at the Utah State XC Championships in order to place second overall in the meet. Katie Latvakoski of Ridgeline is the only other returner for 2022 who has broken 19 minutes for 5000m and she did that at her regional race when she ran 18:56.80 to place second overall.
