Farmington won the 5A boys team title back in 2020 and it was an unforgettable moment having the opportunity to defend their title.
This year, Farmington makes the jump to the 6A classification where they will have to face off against some of the other big names in the state such as American Fork and Lone Peak.
Farmington returns 4 of its top 7 from their state championship team last year and they have some great leaders in Ethan Peterson and Ryan Bennett.
Throughout the 2021 cross country season, we will be maintaining all-classification subjective cross country rankings for the state of Utah. Our initial release this week will be pre-season top 10 rankings for teams and top 15 for individuals in the state of Utah.
These rankings take in numerous factors including performances from the last cross country season as well as improvements made during the track season.
