The outdoor season is officially over, and all of the performance of the week polls have been tallied up. It is now finally time to crown our girls performance of the year winner for the 20222 indoor/outdoor track seasons.
Our tenth-week winner for the outdoor season was Abby Egbert out of Orem High School.
Abby was the winner of the 5A Girls 300H at the Utah State Track & Field Championships, winning the overall meet with a time of 44.25. This time was not only a new PR for the Freshman but it will also stand as the best time run for that event in the 2022 outdoor season. Abby won the poll last week with just over 4,200 votes.
Congratulations to Abby, who is now entered into the pool to win the MileSplit T-Shirt at the end of the outdoor track season.
We'll have eight candidates in the performance of the year poll who were all nominated by you the fans! Voting will end Friday at 12:00 PM MST, and we'll recognize the winner next Tuesday!
