Hailey Low of Layton followed up her win in the Varsity girl's race at Border Wars with a win at the Royal Run XC Invitational with a new season best of 18:06 for three miles. Low has raced five times so far this season and has been the first to the line four of the five times. With the season winding down, Hailey looks to be a serious challenger for the 6A girl's individual title.
The winner of our last poll was Avalon Mecham of American Fork, who won with a total of 42% of the votes cast. Mecham raced at the TwiKnight Invite this last weekend and finished second in a time of 16:40 for the short course.
