*(Eliza Smith Of Bingham Racing the 100H)

The Fourth Week of the outdoor competition has concluded, and after one month of competition, a number of state records have already been broken and countless athletes have hit the qualifying standard for State

Our second-week winner for the outdoor season was Taylor Rohatinksy out of Lone Peak High School.

Taylor was the winner of the Girls 1600m at the Early Bird Invitational, winning the overall meet with a time of 5:03.49. Taylor Followed up that performance by running the second-fastest 1600m time by any Utah female prep on Utah soil when she ran 4:48.71 at the Pine View Invitational. So far this outdoor season, only three girls have run under five minutes in the 1600m, two of which came from last week.  Taylor blew away the competition with a final tally of  2,300 plus votes to win the poll!

Congratulations to Taylor, who is now entered into the pool to win the MileSplit T-Shirt at the end of the outdoor track season.

This Past Weekend, athletes from various schools competed outdoors

We'll have twelve candidates in this week's poll. Voting will end Friday at 12:00 PM MST, and we'll recognize the winner every Tuesday during the unveiling of the newest poll!

The winner of each week's poll will be entered into one giant pool, and a vote for the performance of the year will take place at the end of the outdoor season.

The winner of the performance of the year will receive a free MileSplit T-Shirt!
