The outdoor season is officially over, and all of the performance of the week polls have been tallied up. It is now finally time to crown our boy's performance of the year winner for the 20222 indoor/outdoor track seasons.
Our tenth-week winner for the outdoor season was Ethan Peterson out of Farmington High School.
Ethan was the winner of the 6A boys 800m and 1600m at the Utah State Track & Field Championships, winning the overall meet with a time of 1:53.27 and 4:09.24. Ethan won the poll last week with just over 2,600 votes.
Congratulations to Ethan, who is now entered into the pool to win the MileSplit T-Shirt at the end of the outdoor track season.
We'll have eight candidates in the performance of the year poll who were all nominated by you the fans! Voting will end Friday at 12:00 PM MST, and we'll recognize the winner next Tuesday!
