Shelby Jensen of Westlake had a busy weekend of racing last week. It started at the Utah Pre-State XC Meet, where she placed fourth overall in her division with a time of 18:02.20.  She followed up that performance three days later with a win at the Border Wars meet, where she won with an overall best time of 18:15.48. Having back-to-back performances of 18:15 for 5000m is impressive and shows that Shelby's got a lot in the tank that she can tap into. Other Nominees for this week are American Fork's Avalon Mecham, who won the Utah Pre-State XC Meet in a time of 17:25.50, and Mountain View's Julie Moore, who placed 9th overall at the Woodbridge XC Classic in a time of 16:11.90
