The Fifth Week of the outdoor competition has concluded, and April is already beginning to heat up as we creep closer to the State meet.
Our fourth-week winner for the outdoor season was Eliza Smith out of Bingham High School.
Eliza was the winner of the Girls 100H at the Alpha Invitational, winning the overall meet with a time of 15.02. Eliza Followed up that performance by running the fastest 100H time at the Taylorsville Invitational this past weekend dipping under 15 seconds with her time of 14.81. Eliza is the only female athlete to run under fifteen seconds in the 100H. Eliza won last week's poll with a final tally of 400 plus votes to win the poll!
Congratulations to Eliza, who is now entered into the pool to win the MileSplit T-Shirt at the end of the outdoor track season.
This Past Weekend, athletes from various schools competed outdoors
We'll have nine candidates in this week's poll. Voting will end Friday at 12:00 PM MST, and we'll recognize the winner every Tuesday during the unveiling of the newest poll!
