We're seeing the rise of a very talented underclassmen trio. Kennedy Powell is no stranger to placing well at State with her 3rd place in 2014. Now she has plenty of company in the battle for XC state titles. Zoe Hales and Bailey Brinkerhoff both rose up to the challenge and fought well to finish in Top-3 yesterday. This bodes well for spectators to see two more years of great finish in the 3A girls race!
With three solid teams in the mix for the 3A team race, the deciding factor would be the Pine View pack running. Their 41s spread is a step above the other top teams, and they had the depth in their 6th/7th runners to displace the scorers from Park City and Desert Hills.
