State of the Action:
The outcome of the individual race was no surprise. Whittni Orton completed her 1A HS XC sweep. The suprising result was the margin of her victory. She had posted fast times in the past, but between all 5 classes, Orton's 18:29 would end up as the 14th fastest time of the 2015 State Meet. It doesn't get much closer than the battle for the 1A girls team title. Orton led three Panguitch runners in the Top-10, but Parowan also replicated that feat. When the dust settled, it was the Parowan team that edged out a 2 point win.
