Top Senior Boys At The Utah State Championships

Tayson Echohawk of Orem led the way for the class of 2023 by having the best times in the 800m, 1600m, and 3rd best in the 3200m. Echohawk was able to sweep the 5A distance events going a perfect 3 for 3, defending his titles in the 3200m. The University of Oregon-bound senior was able to add three more state titles to his trophy case before graduating. Tayson also competed in the HOKA Festival of mile, where he ran the full mile in 4:01.07, which was also a sub 4 1600m!
