Head of the Class: Top Freshman Boys Through Week 7

Tyson Pugmire of Maple Mountain is catching up to his older brother Jonathan Pugmire, as the two have helped give Maple Mountain one of the best 400m squads in the 5A classification.  Tyson currently leads the class of 2026 with his 400m PR coming from the Snow Canyon Invitational, where he ran 50.37 to place 6th overall. He is currently ranked 8th overall in the 5A classification, just six spots behind his brother, who is currently second. Tyson is currently ranked in the top 50 for his age nationally in the 400m.
