Colby Anderson of Roy High School made his presence known at the Pine View Invitational when he won the seeded 200-meter boys race in 22.01. Anderson also played his hand in the 400m showing off his range by running 48.43, which is a new PR for him and currently the second fastest time run in the state behind Tate Kjar or Corner Canyon, who ran the fastest time at that same meet. Colby's Performance in the 200m and 400m, along with Tate's time in the 400m, was both fast enough to auto-qualify them for the state meet in those events.
