Daniel Simmons, the new kid on the block, comes in at number two on our individual rankings. Simmons is a recent addition to our pool of talent here in Utah. Coming from Idaho, Simmons boasts PRs of 9:05 for 3200m and 14:37 for 5000m. He was 21st overall at Garmin RunningLane XC Nationals and was the second fastest in that race for the class of 2024. Simmons joins a somewhat depleted American Fork team who is in a rebuilding phase after losing five of their top seven from last year's state team.. Daniel instantly gives AF the fast track back to contention. We'll have to see how well Ben Jaster and Ben Bradshaw develop and if it's enough to provide American Fork with a new big three!
