Top 2021 Team Finishes: 1st at Region 8, 1st at Utah Class 5A

Analysis: Mountain View takes the second spot on our pre-season team rankings. After winning the 5A state title back in 2021, the Bruins are in a great position to repeat as 5A champions. Returning top runners in Liam Heninger and Parker Barnes, Mountain View is on a level at which only a few other teams are. They've even earned themselves a spot in the national rankings and will start the season second in Utah and 20th in the Nation. Mountain View wanted to taste their success last season, and with a 15:36 5000m average among their top five returners, they could easily do just that.
