Analysis: Corner Canyon dropped a bit in our preseason rankings after the news of Carter Cutting moving to a new state for the xc season broke. The Chargers will remain competitive and have some work to do to cover up the loss of losing a star like Cutting. Corner Canyon was 4th overall at the state meet last year, and they returned the top two runners from their squad that placed 4th. Conner Whatcott was 12th overall in the meet last year and he has already appeared on our individual rankings countdown this pre-season.
