Addi Bruening of Herriman is coming off her first individual state title after winning the 6A classification 1600m race in a time of 5:00.01!  Adi lept to new territory when she broke 10:50 in the 3200m and almost broke 5 for the first time in the 1600m. Bruening placed 4th at last year's state championship race and is the second-fastest returner from that field.
