*Conner Mantz leading the 2014 4A Boys Championships Race
Conner Mantz ran the fastest 5000m in Utah when he won the region 5 championships his junior year of high school back in 2013. Since then, we've seen some incredibly fast times, but this past weekend and the RunningLane National Cross Country Championships, we saw three boys get added to the top ten all-time list! Creed Thompson of Skyrdige, who finished second overall in a time of 14:34.38; Nate Jaster of American Fork, who finished third in a time of 14:35.31, and Davin Thompson of Skyridge who finished tenth overall in a time of 14:41.68. Overall there have been 25 boys to break 15 minutes for 5000m in Utah State history (according to our database).
