Analysis: The Davis girls were able to secure a third place finish at state last year which was an improvement over last years 4th place finish. Hope Preston led the way for this squad when she place second overall in the meet running a new best for the course in 18:08. The Davis girls return ALL 7 of its varsity runners from that 3rd place squad last year and they are in a very good position to make a run for the podium!
