Lone Peak Girls Win BYU Autumn Classic!
Top 2018 Team Finishes: 1st at Region 4, 2nd at Utah Class 6A, 4th at NXR-SW
Coach: Courtney Meldrum
Analysts: The Lone Peak girls finished 4th at NXR-SW for the second year in a row and are now looking to capitalize on that spot. Lone Peak had a dominating squad last season and any one of their top 4 runners easily could have been most schools best runners. They lose some of their top athletes like Ali Bybee, Madi Hafen, and Taylor Smart. They retain their top 3 runners in Eliza Arrington, Reagan Gardner, and Eliza Mason. With these three leading the way, they are looking at a very similar squad like the one the had last year. Eliza Arrington was injured for the middle of the season which held the team back from their full potential. If Lone Peak can keep its runners healthy, they should have no problem taking the State Championship come October!
