Porter Whitworth Wins 3A Boys State Championship Race!

Porter Whitworth is all in with XC after having two straight successful seasons. The Grantsville senior put a full summer of training under his belt last year and reaped the rewards of those extra miles. After winning the State XC Meet and being runner up at State in the 3200m, 800m and 3rd in the 1600m, Whitworth's confidence should be at an all time high. Porter had a 10 race win streak his junior year and won the BYU 1A-3A division in the 3200m going 9:26! Porter will have to face Hayden Harward who claimed the State titles in all of the distance events on the track this past spring. Both are seniors and only one can be the State Champion!
