The Boys race will be a fun one to watch with Ryan Raff leading the way. Ryan is ranked 9th in the country for a reason because he has a tendency to burn the field and finish well ahead of his opponents. There isn't really anyone that can challenge Ryan. Some other names to watch would be Caleb Armstrong of Hurricane, Wyatt Evans of Spanish Fork, Garrett Faragher of Mountain View, and Carson Horspool of Pineview. The team battle in this one should be real interesting. You have so many solid teams that really. Any one could take the title depending on the day. Hurricane has a strong advantage however. They are led by the Armstrong Josh and Caleb. Caleb has been reeking havoc this season on southern Utah. His biggest race came at Bob Firman where he finished 8th. Like I said earlier, this is one of the guys that could stick with Ryan, so he'll definitely give his team a low score.

The girls 4A race will feature one of the best teams in the country, Mountain View. Mountain view is ranked 22nd in the nation and they have a deadly front runner in Alissa Fielding. These girls have won tons of meets this year but the one that matters most is what lies ahead for them. They will certainly get some great competition from the Desert Hills, Cedar, and Pine View Girls. They all come from the south and are used to running at higher elevation then a majority of the state. They each have a solid front runner who can compete with Alissa. Bailey Brinkerhoff (Desert Hills), Harley Taylor (Cedar), and Jessica Hill (Pine View), have all had fantastic seasons and there is no reason why any of these girls shouldn't be the 4A state champ this season.
