The track season gets under way this weekend with the Utah State University Indoor meet. This is a quick look at the top returners to the track for the 3a Girls from 2012. The next few days will include a recap for all the remaining divisions as well as a preview for the USU meet this weekend.
The 3a Girls battle looks to be one of the very closest. scoring only last years returning athletes based on last years performance a few small points separate the top 5 teams.
Nobody can predict at this point exactly what state track and field will look like in May. But you can get a great idea of where things left off last year by removing the graduated seniors and ranking the returning athletes in a virtual meet.
