Parker Kingston Holds Off Smith Snowden For 6A 100m Crown

2022 Utah UHSAA State T&F Championships

We have arrived at the final day of competition as new state champions are crowned for 2022.  The boys 6A 100m final posted the fastest times of the day with the top two overall champions only separated by .002 seconds!

It was Parker Kingston of Roy who finished on top with a final time of 10.54 (10.533) over Snowden Smith of Skyridge who was second in 10.54 (10.535).  It was truly one of the fastest races in State history and Kingston will be able to boast the second-fastest time ever in the 6A classification history.

Other winners in the 100m over the other classifications were Kevin Doe of East in the 5A classification who ran 10.91.  Marcus Mckenzie of Pine View ran 10.67 to win the 4A classification.  Levi Smith of Manti won the 3A classification in 11.05.  Travis Stewart of Kanab ran 11.21 to win the 2A classification.  Then finally, Ethan Park of Tabiona ran 11.79  to win the 1A classification.
