Top Sophomore Girls From The Utah State Cross Country Meet

Jane Hedengren of Timpview captured her first individual XC State title when she won the 5A race in 17:25.40.  Hedengren also had the fastest overall time run from the State meet and was one of five girls to break 18 minutes.  Jane was the only girl in her class to break 18, and the next nearest competitor was Union's Jaylie Jenkins, who finished as the runner-up in the 3A race.
