POLL: Vote Utah Boys Performer Of The Week, May. 17-21

The outdoor season is officially over which means this will be our last poll before we vote for performance of the year.

Our ninth-week winner for the outdoor season was Tyler Poole out of Layton High School.

Tyler was the winner of the Boys Discus at the BYU HS Invitational winning the overall meet with a throw of 175-7.5.  Poole ended the 2022 season by taking the 6A State record in the Discus with his throw of 184-2 coming from the Region 1 Championships. Poole is one of three boys to have thrown over 180 for the Discus. Tyler capped off his junior year by winning the 6A State title in the Discus and was runner-up in the shot put.  Tyler won the poll last week with just over 500 votes.

Congratulations to Tyler, who is now entered into the pool to win the MileSplit T-Shirt at the end of the outdoor track season.

This Past Weekend, athletes from various schools competed outdoors
