How did you first get started running?
I did a couple of 5ks when I was really little and loved it, and knew that it was something I wanted to pursue in high school.
Favorite workout?
speed workouts on the track or fartleks.

My greatest obstacle has always been self-motivation to stay in shape during the off-season,
as well as a couple of minor leg injuries.
Mentally I prepare for a race by setting a goal in my head and thinking through how I will accomplish that goal.
Physically I prepare by running a half-mile and stretching before my race as well as eating some sort of protein about 30 min before.
No prerace superstitions unless I'm just unaware of it.
The most memorable race was the first time I took state for 2A XC
The best advice I've received or that's stuck with me is "win the day" because in order to win in a race you have to be prepared by doing you're best every day.
I have officially signed to run at Utah Valley University
My goals:
1. To enjoy the rest of my high school year
2. PR in my mile and 800 times in track.
3.Be an example to the people on my team.
