Boys Individuals
Nate Jaster of American Fork completed a huge milestone for his high school career, winning an individual state cross country title! Jaster wasn't the favorite to win in his race, but that didn't stop the talented junior from upsetting nationally ranked and defending state champion Creed Thompson. Jaster has now climbed onto the national spotlight and made a not so surprising appearance on our national rankings, coming in at 15th overall!
Nate will be lining up in the most competitive field this weekend, facing off against multiple state champions and other nationally ranked individuals. Creed Thompson will be looking to finish back on top like he has been for most of his season. We'll also see Creeds brother Davin Thompson and 5A State Champion Dalton Mortensen among that lead pack. These athletes are going to be leading the way to some speedy 5k times!
