You would have thought that Daniel Simmons of American Fork just finished his senior year with the accomplishments and records he broke but no. He did all of that just as a junior. The reigning boys Gatorade National Player of the Year for cross country and recent BYU commit still has one year left in high school, and it's no surprise he is the top returner in the 1600m and 3200m. Simmons is an incredibly driven and humble athlete who treated us to some amazing races this past school year. We advise that you mark your calendars early, so you won't miss what he will do his senior year.
