Freshman Amelia Nadauld competed against high school-level talent before she reached 9th grade. The Snow Canyon star would compete during the indoor track season (not an officially recognized sport by the UHSAA) against some top-level competition. Once she was eligible to compete in high school, Nadauld made her outdoor debut at her home meet, winning the 100m, 200m, and finishing second in the LJ. Amelia is going to be the top returner for all of those events in 2024 for the 4A classification, and with the new school joining the league next season, her competition at State will be higher than it was before.
