Utah's Top Returning Girls Indoor Track and Field Sprinters

A pretty exciting list of returning sprinters on the girl's side as the 2023 indoor season starts.  Topping our returning 60m and 200m is Lehi senior Sarah Ballard, who was the UHSTCA Indoor Champion of the 60m back in 2022 and the runner-up in the 200m.  Ballard ran her best times of the season at that meet, clocking a 7.63 for 60m and 24.61 for 200m.  On her heels will be Fremont senior Amare Harlan, the reigning 6A outdoor champion in the 100m and 200m.  Harlan was the runner-up to Ballard at UHSTCA in the 60m with a time of 7.66, and she finished 3rd in the 200m with a time of 24.68.  In the 400m, Madi Durrant of Wasatch comes in with the top returning time of 57.52, which she ran at the UHSTCA Indoor Championships. Durrant was second overall in that race.
