The room at the top for the girl's shot put has opened up, and this year we have a few names in close contention to see who will finish the indoor season as number one.  Leading the way is Kalo Fifita of Herriman, who threw for 34-8.25 last indoor season at the BYU HS Indoor Invitational, where she placed 6th overall in the field.  Following behind Fifita is Mountain Ridge's Kezia Griffith, who threw 33-5 at the Salem Indoor Field Invitational, where she finished 6th overall.  Sarena Mackley of Box Elder rounds out our top three with her season best of 30-11 last season making her the final girl on her list of returners to throw further than 30-00 from last indoor season.
