The Carbon girls were on cloud nine as they stole the 3A state championship team title away from the other heavy hitters in their classification, such as Grand County, Canyon View, and Ogden. All of the individuals who finished on the podium will be returning for 2023, so for our top contending teams, a few changes will affect how this new era will play out. Canyon View looks to be the team that benefits the most as they return all but one of their runners who competed at State in 2022. The scores are pretty close following the Falcons, and Juan Diego is looking to add their name into the mix amongst the other teams listed above.
