Jane Hedengren of Timpview finished the season on top with her combined being nearly 10 seconds ahead of her nearest competitor. Jane came close to breaking the 4:50 barrier this year which has only been accomplished by a handful of girls in Utah prep history, but as far as our database shows, Jane ran one of the fastest times in the 1600m and 3200m at the freshman level of all time! This year saw more sub-five 1600m performances than in years past and Taylor Rohatinsky of Lone Peak led the way nearly dipping under 4:40 with her 4:42 performance coming from the Arcadia Invitational.
