Mari Konold of Mountain View made some major progression her sophomore year dropping her three-mile PR from 18:05 to 17:34 and having her first podium finish at State placing seventh overall! Konold was the region 7 champion and finished in the top three for every three-mile race she ran in all season long! Mari led the class of 2023 with the fastest three-mile and 5k times of the year and she will be one of the top returners for the 5A State meet next season.
