Mari Briggs of North Sanpete had an incredible freshman year, and not only does she have the top returning three-mile time in the 3A classification, but she is also the top returner for the State meet! Briggs and her teammates managed to grab a spot on the podium as a team at second place, finishing just 29 points behind Morgan who were the defending state champions. Now North Sanpete returns all but one of its runners from that State team, and they look to be a favorite to win the class 3A cross country state title next season!
