Caila Odekirk from Hurricane is the overwhelming favorite to win the 4A girls State Championships! Odekirk is not only undefeated so far this season across all classifications, but she is also the returning State champion from last season! Odekirk has flashed signs of being a national-level talent. Unfortunately, with all of the post-season festivity's being canceled, the talent junior will have to wait until next year to showcase her talent!
The real race will be for second In this field, and Madison White from Bear River looks to be one of the front runners for that second-place spot. The Senior from Garland, UT, has averaged 18:16.90 for 3 Miles all season, and White was 5th at the State Meet last year. Madison will have some tough competition not only from region 9 but some from her own region as well.
