With the new alignment of the regions and classifications going into effect next school year, the 4A classification had one of the biggest shakeups and is almost unrecognizable from what it was before. The 4A classification comprised of schools from the northern and southern schools of Utah, but now, teams from central Utah have been added into the mix to make the field a whole lot deeper. Trevor Gough of Snow Canyon was one of the top hurdlers in the State this past season, and he and his teammates controlled most of the spots on the podium at this past State Championship meet. Now, new names and faces could break up the pack and steal some points away from Snow Canyon. A lot can happen over the next year, but the defending state champs will have a higher field of competition next season.
