*Nate Jaster of American Fork after finishing 1st in the 6A boys race.

    Nate Jaster of American Fork not only had the fastest time amongst the senior boys at the State meet, but he also finished with the fastest time of the day!  Jaster was the only boy to dip under 15 minutes on the 5000m course and this performance also marked the first sub 15 5K of the year by any Utah boy.  Jaster battled amongst senior teammate Jayden Fitzgarrald and fellow senior Seth Wallgren of Skyridge for a majority of the race but was able to outkick the field to defend his title!  Jefferson Mcmullin of Lehi had the second-fastest time run by a senior boy when he won the 5a class title in 15:06.  Only three seniors won state titles and they were Nate Jaster, Jefferson Mcmullin, and Brock Syrett of Bryce Valley.
