Lia Katoa of Layton was ahead of the field throwing over 35-0 twice during the 2020 indoor season. Like most athletes, Katoa's junior year of track was canceled due to the national pandemic, and Katoa came really close to breaking her PR in the shot put during the indoor season. Hopefully, Katoa will get that chance to bear her best mark of 35-5 either this indoor season or possibly during the outdoor season.
