Eliza Arrington of Lone Peak finished first overall in the 6A Classification at State and had the fastest time of the day being just one of two athletes to break the 18 minute barrier. Eliza has been a bubble athlete on the national rankings for quite some time but as of lately has come alive and been running some of the fastest times of her career. She was injured last season and was able to get back into shape in time for Nike Southwest where she finished 12th overall in the race. She is now a top returner and low stick for her nationally ranked program. She is also surround by other talented teammates who could finish in the top 20 at NXR such as Reagan Gardner and Eliza Mason.
