We are right in the middle of the Outdoor season, and there will be plenty of action around the state this weekend.
tonight the Wildcats of Woods Cross will host their invitational and it should be an exciting one. With just a few more qualifying weekends ahead look for athletes to push themselves as they chase qualifying times and records.

Sam Wood- Head Coach of Woods Cross Gave us a little insight in what to watch for so special thanks to him.
Boys 100m- Sean Barton and Derek Lord will Face off, which is always a close battle. Also look for the Herriman sprinters in this event as well as the Girls Sprints.
Boys 110h- Cam Dopp, Taylor Allen Jaxon Worthen and Conner Jensen will all compete and so this may be one of the most stacked races of the afternoon.
Boys 4x100m Relay will pit Herriman Syracuse against the home team Wildcats which should be a great one to watch. Especially with Woods Cross slated to pair up their Barton, Lord, Spano, and Judd Combo which should be great.
Also Watch for Peck of Bonneville as he is a talented athlete that can compete with the best.
In the mile and two mile you will have a rematch of the Bonneville/Herriman State XC dual along with Hedquist and Aposhian from Davis in the two mile
4:21 1600m runner Marcus Lindmeir will make his 3200m debut tonight which should be fun.
The High Jump will have Anthony Gregory from Roy and Blake Williams from Viewmont facing off.
In the Boys Javelin watch for Woodward of Syracuse who has thrown 175’ this year.
In the girls 100, superstar Kaysha Love from Herriman will be competing. She will also face off with Marissa Appiah from Woods Cross in the high jump, both athletes sporting 5'5" PRs.
Shea Martinez and Lucy Biles will look to solo big efforts in the 800 and 3200 today which will cap off a great night
