Utah Distance Challege a great opportunity for Utah athletes to climb their way into the national spotlight.
Of all the great marks posted this weekend, below are two lists.
The first list is the marks posted by athletes in Utah this weekend that rank in the top 50 nationally.
The second List is the list of performances from this weekend that meet the National Silver Standard for performances. Those marks that meet the national silver standard are considered national elites.
Marks that earn a National Top 50 ranking
Shea Martinez, Davis - 800m Run - 2:09.84 - National Rank 2nd
Lauren Baxter, Timpview - 400m Dash - 56.31 - National Rank 8th
Cam Dopp, Woods Cross - 400m Dash - 49.34 - National Rank 18th
Trevor Leavitt, Davis - 400m Dash - 49.98 - National Rank 47th
In addition to these marks, the following athletes missed the top 50 ranking by very narrow margins.
Morgan Warner of American Fork, Ellie Child of Davis, Issac Faux of Maple Mountain, Conner Mantz of Sky View, Brian Jasper of Bonneville, and Skylar Williams of Davis.
