Meet Information

State Qualifying Track and Field Invitational
April 10,11, 2009 at Orem High School

Entry Fee: $75.00 per team or $150.00 boys/girls
$2.00 per spectator. Coaches Passes will be accepted.

Awards: Medals will be given to the top three Finishers in individual events and the top Finisher in Relays. Team Trophies will be given to the Girls and Boys Meet Champions. Team Scoring will be 10,8,6,5,4,3,2,1.

Surface: We have just completed our brand new Atlas Rubberized Track. Please note the only 1/4" (or shorter) pyramid spikes can be used
(spikes will be checked at bullpen and starting line). Shot Put and Discus rings are concrete. Javelin runway is grass. High Jump and Long Jump runways are Rubberized Surface.

Meet Entry: Each team is required to submit pre-entries to Runnercard.com by April 9th at 5 PM. Each team will be allowed up to Five (5) individual athletes per event and one (1) team relay per team. Heats will be formed in the bullpen Northwest end of the stadium and flights formed at the various field events. Please submit electronic times, and accurate distances and heights to ensure proper heat placement.

General Meet Info:

1. All throwing implements will be weighed and certified according to the National Federation Rules. The weigh-in will be conducted at the Northwest end of the stadium in front of the Track Shed. Make sure your athletes are using the IAAF javelins.
2. Finish Lynx Timing will be used for all running events.
3. Individual entries are limited to four events per athlete.
4. Schools should dress before arriving at the meet.
5. Throwers and Jumpers will be allowed three tries (top nine to finals).
6. Minimum marks measured will be set as follows:
Girls Boys
Discus 80' 100'
Javelin 80' 110'
Shot Put 25' 35'
Long Jump 12' 16'

8. The crossbar for High Jump will be raised as follows:
