With The Desert Twilight XC Festival coming up, we decided to take a look back at the top 200 times from Arizona athletes on the girls side over the years.

We took the top-800 girl 800M runners in Arizona history and then plotted out which teams would have the best fantasy 4x800 squad of all-time. 64 teams made the cut. See if your school and your athlete is in there.

Elijah Armstrong of Pocatello In the northwest Oregon & Washington runners made their final adjustments prior to their State qualifiers & Idaho runners ran their qualifiers.  The big news was on the national level, where Sara Baxter put in a performace, that was perhaps second only to that of Melody Fairchild.   Baxter ran three miles (not a 5K) at Mt. SAC in 16:00.

Cibola junior, Monica Huston, is our next runner on the "Who To Watch" series.

 Billy Orman (Sr., Tuba City) and Sarah Fakler (So, Xavier College Prep) won their individual division state titles with the fastest time of the day.

 The Arizona Lutheran boys team won their first Regionals/Sectionals title in the history of the school.
