Amare Harlan of Fremont ended her high school career on a high note at the Utah State Track & Field Championships, winning the 100m, 200m, and Long Jump Events. The University of Michigan-bound senior lowered her own state records in the 100m and 200m, bringing them down to 11.43 and 23.30. Harlan was a top sprint prospect in the nation and will be sorely missed, but new talent is brewing in the beehive state, and potentially the next athlete to take up Harlan's mantel next season.
