Senior Madelynne Taggart of Corner Canyon shot out of the blocks and created a lead which she managed to hold on to and win the Snow Canyon Invitaitonal in 44.49. Taggart is currently ranked 29th in the nation for the event and this was her first time dipping under 45 seconds. Last year at this meet, Madelynne ran 47.31 to place second overall. She's already dropped nearly three second off her opening mark of last year, how much faster can she go this season?
